Tire Recycling Collection

Bring us your tires! We’ve put in some overtime to make sure we can continue on the annual tire collection and recycling event that the former Kalkaska County Recycling Center hosted.

We’ve reserved two semi-trailers for the event and hope we can fill them both. There are a few stipulations though to make the event a success:

• FREE to Kalkaska County residents (proof of residency is required).

• REGISTRATION is recommended to help ensure a smooth traffic flow of the event: RSVP list will go live one month prior to the event.

• Limit of 10 tires per household.

• Only regular car and truck tires will be accepted.

• NO semi-trailers or tractor tires.

• NO tires larger than 4 feet tall or 12 inches wide.

• Volunteer help to load tires will be greatly appreciated!

The event will take place at the former Recycling Center on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 9am to 1pm.
